At 21 years old, my income is combined with my parents to determine my eligibilty for financial aid.

I live on my own, and pay ALL of my own bills. This does not make me an independent student, my parents income still counts. They cannot afford for me to go to college, and I can not afford to pay it either. I only need to be able to secure about $1000 every semester to pay for school, and I have looked for scholorships and grants everwhere but none seem to be avialable for me. I am not looking for a handout from people on here (though if anyone wanted to give me one, I would accept it ;-))

I am asking if anyone knows any real places to get these items (like fastweb) then please let me know. If the page you send me to requires a fee, please don't even bother posting it. My education is very important to me, my grandfather is very sick and he is dying. I wanted to start school full time as opposed to the one at a time classes I can afford now before he died, so he could see me trying.

I am not interested in loans. I worked 23 hours a day for months on end with no off days to pay off my debt. I am debt free and do not wish to return to that lifestyle. I worked a second job again for 2 months just to afford my one class I am taking this upcoming summer term, and then enough to pay for 2 classes this fall. I would rather be able to afford this without killing myself. (I almost did last year, I only stopped working the 23 hour days at my doctors request.)

I just need help to better myself.
